Default Still having dash gauge problems

ok so none of my gauges worked. however the lighting did.

so i removed all the wiring and cleaned it up, re did the grounds and even changed the voltage regulator, and it still doesnt work. i tested the voltaged and it is reading. i also connected some of the gauges like the fuel one to a constant 12volts and the needle slowly moves to full. so i know the gauges work.

also i connected the speedometer wire, (bc that wasnt working either), soi figuered "ok at least this will work since its just a mechanical wire connection from the tranny" and that still doesnt work. what gives. and yes i checked the other end and its connected to the tranny with a red gear.

im stumped. any ideas or suggestions?

You may have gotten a bad voltage regulator. Hook it up and specificallycheck it's output.
