Default Edelbrock F4B question

The 302 in my car has an old Edelbrock F4B on it with a 600 Vac Holley.
What is that intake comparable to in Edelbrocks (or anyone else's) current lineup?

Do you think I would gain much by swapping it for a new Weiand (Stealth or Action) intake? I could sell the Edelbrock to cover some of the cost of the Weiand i guess. But if it will only gain me a couple of HP I won't bother.

What I have is a weekly driver, 5.0 roller cam & I plan on getting AFR heads one day. Would like to eventually make around 300-350 HP with it.

Default RE: Edelbrock F4B question

The F4 B Edelbrock was and still is a great manifold for 289 or 302 Ford's.For a street application it's a good choice with the 600 vac secondary Holley. With the addition of a mild cam upgrade, maybe a hyd roller,a set of AFR 165 heads ,and some headers you will be close to your HP goal. But ,if your engine has a lot of miles on it a rebuild with some good 10 to 1 pistons along with new rings, bearings, and a balance job will be a wise move
