i found a 67 coupe for 2G on some one who wanted to restore and gave up on never started. came with mostly all new exterior chrome and the front seat covers and carpet headliner. i got a steal. i looked at 10 diff stangs and this one called to me. the engine drives strong but needs a carb. there is minior surface rust but a good weekend spent with a sander and rattle can primer ill have it fixed. you think 17 is bad try being a 16 year old right now withno dad to help you with the car. I've replaced the seat covers and the windsheild weather stripping (removing the window). replaced the carpet also.like the above guy said mustangs are a blast but what ever you do dont give up and dont get a bowtie... or a V-dub haha. If your lucky ull find a car with minor body work and a running V-8. hell you might find it for less then 4G and be able to start your project a little earlier then thought with saved money. You will pay more then you expect to restore it but you will be more satisfied with the outcome of saying you did that. and thats yours not some old guy thats yelling at you for opening the hood at a car show ;-).
