I've heard about adaptors for that, but never seen one, and personally I'd rather leave the factory bellhousing in there if you're going that route.

Have a link for a kit?

there is a place near me arizona mucle mart that has the cable conversion and a cross member but they want $500 bucks for the two. i am only paying $400 for the t5 with the late model bell housing.
i am fine with the cable kit but i just dont want to pay through the nose if i dont have to. i am building the car from the bare bones. i had it media blasted about a month ago and pick it up from paint tomorrow.
i also have to rewire it. is the Painless harness the way to go?
