Default 71 M CODE NEED FRAME

Hi, Ive got mach 1 with a bent front frame and I'm wanting to know what frames are the same to change over to.
I am assuming its really expensive to have the frame fixed.
Any help is welcomed. Thanks

the first thing u have to know when it comes to a mustang and a situation liek this is that they are unibody construction. there is no actual frame that can be dropped off, like chevys and other makes. they have framerails, and that is wat is probably tweaked. i dont know much aobut actuallly fixing the rails but i would have to say u would probably want to make this a keeper afterward lol

Usually people get a replacement from a parts car-try http://www.classic-cougar.com/ and see if they have one from a '71 for your Mustang.

take it by a shop and see if they can pull it straight! i have a 71 sportsroof that was in a frnt end wreck and i (just so you know i work at a body shop) pulled it out and it was back about 1" and over 2" to the left. it came out fine with a cold pull (no heat on the rail )

Freddie may be a nice guy but his parts are very expensive;even compared to Perogie.WhenIgot started back in the hobby a few years ago I didn't have theknowledge about procuring used parts that I do know and got a 4-speed conversion from Freddie at Mustangmasters and I paid a very premium price for all of the stuff. Now if it would have been correct I would have chalked it up to experience and moved on but almost nothing was correct,or if it was,it was damaged and unusable.Hell, even the tranny had the wrong tailhousing ( and yes, I told him the year, engine, etc...)and I had to paythe return shipping (not cheap from Cali).I think the only thing I used was from the original shipment was the flywheel. The bellhousing, clutch pedal assembly, and tranny were the incorrect pieces. The z-bar and shifter handle were bent and unusable(he never replaced them, I got lucky and found a local supplier for the z-bar and bought a new shifter assembly from Summit.
Sorry to hijack this thread and rant over.

sorry about your experience with him ive had good results. ive received the wrong part before(power steering bracket) no different from any of the other parts house its happened with all. but he quickly handled it. yes he does charge a premium, for some of his parts, but he cant get anything you need or anything you could ever think of.

You could call Mustang Village in Fontana, Ca for used parts. He's the only Mustangs only wrecking yard I know of in SoCal.
