Different factories put them different places as I've read, I think it was the New Jersey plant that taped them to the wires behind the dash, but I'm probably remembering wrong. Mine was under the carpet and half gone when I got it[>:]

Yeah, they got stuck all over the place. Dash wiring harness and under the carpet were common places, but not every car has one. Cool find though

Blast. I was anxious to find mine when I took the interior apart but it wasnt there. All I found was a few cents, cigarette butts, and some Taco bell sauce packets. And a bobby pin... A chick drove it before me.

Totally not as exciting as a build sheet.

I found mine is the same place. Is there any way to restore (or at least smooth out the build sheet without tearing it to shreads? A dipping solution for old documents perhaps?

Great find! Dont use tape. Go to any stationary store and get a full 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of laminate. That or simply buy a cheap frame and put it behind glass.

Maybe a bit expensive but I thought pressing it between 2 sheets of glass would be best...
