building a replica cobra
hey i am in high school and my teacher isnt smart enough to find parts on his own. we a buildin a factory five replica cobra and we need any parts we can get or even a donor mustang between 1987 til 1993 if u could give me any info that would be awesome thanx
There is this website I heard about, I think its www.coparts.com . My friend went to an autobody place and saw it there from a worker, I guess they sell wrecked cars cheap on an auction, just they are alot shorter till the auction ends. I think you might have to pay a registration fee to join, I havent checked. Worth a try though. Heck, I need a parts car myself, i'll check that out after I post this. Good luck with it though. If all fails, try a junkyard. I see tons of 80+ mustangs at ours every time I go.
You can buy a pallet of all the parts already striped from a donor car for a lot less than looking for a donor car. (and a lot less work) Also, I think FF has updated the frame to accommodate the 4.6 L engine.
Factory Five has its own dedicated forum... All the info you'll ever need.
But I'm sure you know all this already...
