Default Transmission weight?

Hi,

What would be the weight difference between an original 3 speed automatic transmission (on a 1967 code A 289) and a new Tremec manual T5?

Thanks!

Somewhere around 35 LBS!Are you putting in a Tremec T5?If you are changing from a 3 speed manual to the T5 it will make a massive improvement on your Fuel mileage and performance!!Good Luck![8D]
