I got a 68' coupe that sounds pretty good but I was thinking about adding some flowmasters. Any of you guys have them? Also, was wondering what were the best sounding ones and where I could get em for cheap. Thanks!

full length headers, original 40 series with no crossover pipe

 

i have 2 chamber flowmasters. but everyone has flowmasters. so when i put my car backtogether, i might go with magnaflow. i think its a deeper tone. the flows sound more raspy and throaty.

 

sounds nice. but he sure aint revving up to 4500rpm like the description says.

 

I was different.... I went with cherrybomb.Even when my grandfather ordered it the guy said you are supposed to put flowmasters on a mustang. I got cherrybomb because i think flowmasters quiet the car depending on which one you get. Cherrybomb you know they are going to be loud.

i have an extra set of JBA mufflers im gonna throw on before i decide what to buy.

 

i remember years ago, every person that had a mustang, old or new, ran flowmasters. You could tell a mustang from miles away. I myself always said, when i get my mustang, i will have flowmasters. There is alot of people getting away from them, but i just love the sound. With the tri-y headers, and the flowmaster american thunder series, with 40 mufflers, sounds so awsome. I love mine.
