I have them on my 347. Mine were $1300 ea! Those are the best head I could find for my specific build.

IMO they are a little large for a 302.

The one thing with the 185's is they have the 2.02 intake valves in them, so you have to make sure you have adequate valve-to-piston clearance to run them. Based on your sig I am guessing you have one of the crate motors or FRPP short block. It should be pretty easy to get the specs for the pistons to see if they are cut with adequate valve reliefs.

Those heads will probably outperform what you have now. Most people generally recommend the 165's on motors 331 ci and below. I have read plenty running the 185's on their 302 and had good results with them. I wish I had either on my car!

+1 on what 66FB06GT says:
i have no idea as I don't have one, but only hear the best about them.
they do have 2.02 valves, which is not stock specs. So you will need to make sure about clearance.

I just purchased some 165's for my 302 a couple months ago. I have a supercharger and they said to stay with the 165's unless I planned on stroking it. I was concerned about piston clearance and I know I wasn't going to have problems with the 165's.

Afr has 1of the BEST costumer support I know of.
They helped me with good advice and direction.
Them and Compcams worked with each other then called ME back for what was best for my 347 setup.
I couldnt have picked these parts my self for what works best with what.
They also hooked me up with Aeroflow fuel setup and what MSD system to use.
Does it all work well together?
All I can say is catch me if you can @ yearone event this year.
