Default wiper motor wires

hi. i am almost done restoring a 66 mustang. i have a question that i hope somebody can help me with. i have tried to search, but have found nothing, none of the parts stores can help either. i am trying to hook up intermitent wipers. i have an intermitent wiper switch from a 85 f150 out in our pasture. i bought a 69 mustang 2 speed wiper motor. it has four wires coming from the motor. i can figure out what is what on the switch using a test light, but the motor has me stumped any help would be appreciated.

From what I can remember you have ground, slow, fast and park wires. The park is for the motor to go back to the correct position after you turn off the switch. I would do a trial and error to find out what's what and use a 85 ford manual to get you started.

Without a diagram or someone who knows those motors throughout, you'll have to test it yourself to see what the wires are for. Sounds like you are almost there. Since the car is nearly complete, you should be able to connect it up enough to test to see what each wire is for. Of course, one would be ground, fast, and slow. Does the pump have model numbers, part numbers anything like that that you can search for a diagram? I'm sure you've checked all that. Good luck.
