Dash light replacement....best way?

Default Dash light replacement....best way?

Hey guys... 2 of my dashlighs have gone out behind the speedometer and the other behind the directional arrow... I can't remember the last time I had to change these light..(if ever). What's the best way to get to them? Thx

don't pry it out either with a crowbar or somthin....I know some1 who tryed..

I would suggest purchasing a shop manual. They explain the whole process. To take the one out of my 68 you have to remove the ashtray and reach up behind for one nut. I hate to think how long it would have taken me to find that one.

Ok, i figured out how to get the cluster out and everything. I'm putting in white gauges... but now i'm stuck again! how do you get the speedometer needle off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I figured i'd ask before i broke it, that's all i have left is to get that off and then i can finish and put the car back together again... Thanks...

Ok guys...nevermind once again... i got it... well kinda... whatever, it works... Gauges and lights are replaced and everything works... if not... I"LL BE BACK
