Default Fuel regulator

I have found this site being very resourceful having people reply to different posts. Yet I find myself with another question. I am about to put a fuel pump on my 67 mustang after I get the suspension completely done. I am putting a holey electric fuel pump and regulator on the car. I have a 347 stroker with a 650 mechanical secondary speed demon carb. Any suggestions what I start with the PSI?

Look up your carb specs but I remember 7 psi, 9 max.

I suggest staying with the mechanical but if your bent on the electric then you must not exceed 6psi at the carb.

It would probably run fine at 3PSI at the carb but 6 is maximum and also suggested operating pressure.
