Default Integral Power Steering Gear Box

Does anyone know of an integral power steering gear box that would fit a 68 Mustang. I'm not happy with power assist. It has too much inherent slop.
I don't like my rack and pinion conversion that I currently have. It's to hard to steer.
I wonder if any of the big cars from the late 60's or early 70's had true power steering that was a rear steer car. Rear steer means the tie rod ends fastened to the spindle rear of the hub, not in front like fox body cars.
If I could retrofit a true power steering box I think it would work great.
Thanks!

Check out www.steeroids.com. They have a rack & pinion that comes with a power option.

There shouldn't be a lot of slop in a factory p/s system. If there is, likely there are parts that need to be replaced.

The problem with the factory style p/s is that it's way overboosted, meaning you get very little road feel out of the steering.

I've heard of truck integral p/s boxes being fabbed in, but nothing I'm aware of that's a direct bolt in. You can always get a power R&P kit.
