Default Crazy idea

I had an idea and was wondering if anyone else thought about it. What if you got some fiberglass fenders for a 66 mustang coupe and the got the front end off of a new mustang and somehow grafted it on? I know anything is possible but how would it look? It would be nice to hear some input and maby even if it has already been done.

I think your best bet would be to take that to the chop shop... it sounds a little too crazy to me though... what part of the front are you looking to replace? I love the classic front end..

Someone would have to know what they're doing to complete that task.

Would be interesting, but a waste of classic parts IMHO.

It would be a tough trick to get the proportions right.
This is a miata mustang thing its not even close to scaled right the front and tail look like full size stang parts just on that narrow a frame doesnt look right to me.

I agree that miatastang doesn't look "right", but I think it's pretty cool anyway. To each his own, I guess .....

people do it with corvettes all the time. there is a guy in my area who has something like an 05 corvette that he put a 57 or so front end on. it looks really sweet from some angles and really bad from others.

Yeah I was thinking more on the lines of a 2007 maby earlier bumper, grill and lights on a 66 mustang. leave the stock 66 hood and fenders.
