I know it's a mustang forum andi also own one ('71 grande), but i have a question regarding a '71 Torino.
I'm in the market for one and i know a car here in the netherlands, but this torino has an 4 manual (toploader) tranny. I did a search here, but found only conversions to manualbut not to auto. I am a mechanic (bmw bikes) so the technical stuff won't be a problem.

Is there anyone who can tell me what has to be done and which parts i need for the swap? Do i have to replace the radiator or can i put a second one in front of it? Also whichtranny should i put in it? C4, C6 FMX or AOD? And what are the differences between these trannys. I know the last one has a overdrive but thats it. The car has a 351 Cleveland 4V in it, probably all stock. (for now)
