I would go with ac. Not a big fan of tinted windows on a classic, tmo.

Tinting does help, but I agree, not a fan of non-factory tinting on classics.

I drove around in 110F heat for a few summers in my black interior 67fb (which is more of a greenhouse than your coupe) and I was fine...as long as I was moving. But yeah, driving around in traffic sucked.

Like racin66 said, if tinted windows are done right, they can look pretty good. This summer I'm probably going to tint my windows to help with a little cooling. You could always roll both windows down and drive faster.

Make sure that those little tri-angle windows in the front work. I think those are one of the 'perks' about having an old car (well that and being able to play my Elvis 8-track tapes in my car).

Definitly, those little windows are awesome. We had them on our old chevy truck and although small, they definitly worked..

I think tint is ok if you dont do real dark. I wouldnt go any darker than 35%. And none of that colored tint junk, it all looks like crap.

You could kill 2 birds with one stone and sound deaden your car before summer hits. That would keep your car alittle cooler and help with road noise...

If you are in a state like Illinois, where I am, tinting is illegal. For my money 4-60 air conditioning is the best value and works pretty good...at least on the highway.

Bagh, tinting is "illegal" practically everywhere. The limit here in MD is 40% i think and thatslike nothing..
