Default SHOCK TOWER SPREAD

So maybe this question has been asked before, but where would you mount a port a power if you wanted to spread your shock towers? I need about a inch total to get my headers to fit my falcon and according to everything I am reading it seems like my towers on the have sagged to about what I need to spread them too. Anyone have any ideas on where to put this thing? The portapower I have is sort of like a little door wedge. Do I need to find one that will go from shock tower face to the other face and spread it that way? Or do I need to just pull the motor and try it that way?

Either way please help.

personally on another car i used one of our powerteam hand pump with the pancake cylinder on one side with a flat piece of steel , and a huge pipe with a flat steel on each side of it. - worked great. or you could always try the pipe and nut way.. :\

Jacking the car from the center might relax and spread them after a few days.
