hello to all i have a question i have a 71 mustang and it has power steering but the old worm gearing do they make a rack and pinion setup for this year and if so who? Also i have a 8inch rear end and would like to buy a 9in any recomendations on were to buy one with a limited slip rear with 3.90 gears fully assembled to fit a 71. One more question is were can i find a good price on a nasa hood thanks to all who help and if your curious what the car looks like here is a pic

as for buying a 9", depends where you are located. Ready to go like that will cost $$.
is the 8" shagged or you just feel the need for 9? Plenty of guys here swear by 8" unless you have a train load of torque.

the 8 is fine i thought about going 9 cause i built a 351cj stroked it and all sorts of good stuff im hoping to make around 450 to 500 at the wheels

all those links were nice but they only went up to year 70 not for a 71

i cant find a R&P setup for a 71. only 70 and below.

lol ok i see that the venders havent realized that the 71-73 mustangs are becoming more popular and people are rebuilding them and want aftermarket parts oh wellhow hard is it to fabricate or get something close to fit a 71 for rack and pinion?
