i have a 67 coupe that will eventually need paint. its burgundy now with a red interior, but i was thinking about painting it to the original color which is burnt amber, then putting 2 black stripes down it with a black interior. or i was thinking about the bullitt green. what do you guys think? you think the amber with black would look good? ive never seen one before.

I'm going with the dark moss greenon our 67 coupe with white stripes. Contrasting black/dark moss green/ivy gold/parchment interior.

If orginal is what you are looking for, I love the vintage burgandy. Ifyou like restomod stuff, Ihave a friend who did a baby blue with white racing stripes on a 66 coupe that looked awesome.

Personally, I think any reddish color with black stripes would look pretty bad on a classic, or any car for that matter. I would definitely go with a green color if I were you. Not many ppl do it, and it looks great. Then again, I am a little biased... 2 of the 3 cars that I have owned were green... haha.

Really tho, anything but the red and black. Its one of my pet peeves when ppl do weird color combos for stripes.

Burnt amber and only a flat black "reflective" stripe on the bottom of the side of the car, like the GTA stripes. Or a "C" stripe, again Flat black....

I painted mine red with black stripes, I like it. How do you figure it's a weird color combo?

I like the combination of red and black or orange and black on a classic. It adds originality to the car. IMO burnt amber with black stripes would look pretty good.
