hey man you should definitely install a kill switch in there. or at least a switch for your fuel pump. better than an alarm system

Glad to hear you got it back!

Add a cheap alarm and hidden cutoff switch. I'd saythere was a good chance this was a local kid/s looking for a quick 'joyride'. Any pro car thief would know how to handle it. Cheap alarms and cutoffs are the best way to deter these joyriders. Pros will take it regardless unfortunately. That said...

Invest in a LoJack system! Police nationwide have access to this and once notified they can activate the LoJack radio signal and track the car regardless of it's location.. in the woods, under a bridge, in a building or even in a locked container at the nearest docks! Satilite based systems can't do this. Their base system is 699.99 I think, and an advanced system thats 999.99 which notifies you via email, phone or pager if the car is moved somehow. They install the device which is about the size of a small eraser and very hard to locate. I know 1 guy who restored his car and never found his. It wasn't a body off but some major tear down and work done. Confirmed afterwards that it was still installed and working!

Definately something I'll have installed once ours is done. Wife has it in her current import.
