Cool, thanks guys yeah I used pinesol and a toothbrush and I got about 20 year old dirt off it. I'm going to get some armor all and try it again this week.

Yeah I cleaned all the pinesol off... I didn't know it ate away the vinyl but I just wanted to get rid of the smell... thanks for the info. Hahah I wish I could get an all new interior but I'm a broke *** college student, it sucks.

I have used Formula 409 and Fantastik, both available at the grocery store. Do not use the Clorox Clean Up spray (a similar product). That stuff will etch hard plastic.Fantastik and 409seems to do a good job of cutting the greasy part of the grime. I don't know if it has long term effects but I do wipethevinyloff with a wet towel when I am done. Those products also do a great job on the underside of the hood if you have crap on the metal. I thought mine was rusted but it was just really, really dirty. Did not seem to hurt the paint at all. Took a lot of rubbing though to get it clean.
