Aussie, that is a great way to do the shaker. Did you custom fab that yourself? I would love to do one, but with a Holley and Edelbrock Air Gap, the height is all off. Your system looks like it would work well for me. Also, that torque strap you have is perfect. It looks like the fox body style, with a custom bracket on both sides. Very nice!

Wow man, that all looks really sweet! I really like your touque limiter. The whole cable strap idea is cool too. I think I may try to make one for my car, beacuse I broke a motor mount with the stock motor and it put a dent in my hod. I got it fixed, but now I have a lot more power and I dont want it to happen again.

thanks!
nineteen, no, the 408 has 2 bent valves...waiting on replacements from AFR.
Its realistically another month away as I do the grunt work and not able to spend much time on it. Hopefully no longer than a month or i will have to kill someone.

Urban, the shaker bottom was also a custom job...wish i could claim the workmanship was my own but it only cost me a case of beer! Only thing left to resolve is if it takes in water in the rain. Unless it is torrential I dont think its going to be a problem.
