Mustangs Plus
Anyone dealt with Mustangs Plus recently? I am having a no luck with them. A few months back I was in constant contact with their international desk (i am in India), and got prompt answers for my questions. But ever since I sent in a request for a quote I have not got any answers. Its been three months, I have email a dozen times to three different emails, and also left a message in their answeing machine.
Any idea what's going on?

Most of my transactions with MU have been cordial and they have been pretty helpful overall.
My last one, however, the telephone rep was pretty rude - both his tone and attitude were laden with apathy. Having dealt with the public all of my working life I found his attitude to be pretty offensive.
Maybe he was having a bad day or something personal in his life, something I can excuse on occasion, but if I encounter such an attitude again, I will consider writing a letter to the top brass. Upper level management usually do not have a sense that something is wrong unless their profits dip or someone informs them. Otherwise, bad workers can sabotage a business.

I too live about 30 min away from Mustang Plus, and have limited my contact with them to "only if absolutely necessary". I have yet to see a mustang in their parking lot, and the counter guys all drive hondas. There arebetter business' out there, with much better cust service. I go to a local shop called American Mustang that has consistently been a notch above anyone I've dealt with. They drive, breath, and bleed ford blue.
I'm from Stockton (where M+ is located) and have been in there several times. I went in there once while they were training new counter guys who I swear were just out of high school and very obviously knew next to nothing about cars.
I actually met Ron Bramlet, Sr. once. He came by my house while we were having a garage sale and commented on my car (which had a big 'not for sale' sign on it). All the higher ups(and their children/wives) are Mustang fanatics. Ask to talk to a manager and you'll get a Mustang guy. The counter guys are there for orders.
That said, I also don't go there unless I'm already in town and I need something smallfairly quicklyand don't want to pay for shipping, or if they're the only place to get what I'm looking for. They do a fair amount of restomod stuff that I think is cool, but aside from that they're overpriced and customer service is often mediocre.
