Default Best Spark Plugs

So, I just got a Pertronix kit with the Ignitor, new wires, and a new coil. I want to upgrade my spark plugs as well. I'm not going for original here, so overall... what are the best spark plugs I can buy? Brand, material (platinum, etc), pegs, etc.?

What should I get? I know people have asked this before, but it seemed like they were going for originality, show spark plugs.

Nothing wrong with Autolite coppers, although you'll get longer life from platinums (or double platinums). There isn't going to be any performance gain from them, however. What you want to do is up the gap to .040 to make use of your new ignition.

Autolite coppers FTW!! Platinums will last longer and tolerate a bigger gap without wearing as quickly, but the tips stay hotter which could cause a preignition/detonation problem in some setups. Coppers work really well and conduct better, but don't last as long as platiunums, but the coppers are also cheaper.

i run the plain ol autolite 23's i love them never had a problem with them. i run a b&m blower so i have to go 2 degress cooler.. but ive never had a problem with them burning.. so i guess i'd go with autolite myself..
