Default 65 windshield glare question

At night, when I am driving, the on coming headlights give the windsheild an aweful glare. I have tried windex over and over, it does not help. It is the original glass, but does it need to be buffed or something. Day time driving... its looks like any other winshield.
thanks

Perhaps it is so pitted that the light is bouncing funny off of it and making it hard to see. If it is the original glass and ultra-originality is not of concern, you may wish to replace it. You'd be surprised what a difference new glass makes.

Good luck!
