I Painted My 66 Coupe Today!!
I posted my flickr site before, but since I finally painted it today I thought I would add a new post. Work your way through all six pages to see where I started. I can't wait to start putting it back together. I painted it at the local Vocational school. There are two classrooms, Collision Tech 1 and Collision Tech 2 and I used both of their paint booths. Check it out.

Yes, They are repo fenders. They took a little extra time to fit but I am actually really happy with them. I bought them in person at the Mustang Corral in Edwardsville IL. The guy working the counter took me to the back shop where the had one mounted on a 65 GT they were working on and it fitted great. It's gonna be a while before I get it back on the road. My Goal is to be cruising in it Spring 2009.
I love to do body work but I don't think my lungs could take doing it for a living. I always wear a mask now but I regret not always wearing one ten years ago when I started body work as a hobby.

. My 65 is in the booth now being painted Screaming Yellow with Tungsten grey strips. Gotta love Yellow!!!
