PATCHING FLOORS ********
So im getting my floors patched starting this weekend. i wanted to get yalls opinion about 2 ways i can do it. the guy can cut it out and put in new metal probably without the factory drain holes with the rubber things. or should i order some original style floor pans from johnsmustangs or something for the right and left side and have him just replace them with that?
well i need the front and rear pans on both passanger and drivers side. just to play it safe. its like 70 bucks for each side. so maybe he willcharge less because that would mean less work to do if i get the premade pans.
but honestly, replacing floorpans seems scary to do yourself, but look how mine turned out

yeah its 140 bucks then i got to get the guy to do the work for me. so ill prob just go that route. it only took me about an hour to get all seats out, carpet, underlayment, and panels. i was happy that i didnt break anything this time!
nice work. I'm in the middle of replacing driver side front & back pan. One good thing about doing it yourself is that you know its going to be done right and when its all done you can sit back and admire "YOUR" work.
Be careful of the fuel line under drivers side pan. I was cutting out mine and I went right through the line. needed to be replaced anyway so I wasnt too worried about it.
Be sure to inform the gentleman doing the work.
