So i sold my '66 coupe and ended up buying a '71 mach 1 m-code. ill post some pics soon. It was originally grabber green. anybody have one?

You'll love it the 71-73 are the best handling from the factory besides being a bigger car there still nice and still a lot you can do with it.

They do have the best ride. I have a J code basket case (from the firewall up), but most all the hard to find parts are with it. 72 original medium metallic green which my wife says is the ugylest color she has ever seen. And a 73 unrestored.

i have my 71 sportsroof in the sig. that is the light gree, then i have a 72 convertable that was orginally hunter green color. I love the bigger body style! they ride alot better in my mind and they can still get up and go!

Parts are getter better to find for the 71-73 http://www.ohiomustang.com/ carrys the most i have seen at any mustang part house.67 evil eleanor if theres anything you can't find let me know.I learned to drive in the 71 fastback my dad had even tho it was a inline 6 it would get up and move and rode pretty good for a old car that wasn't tooken care of.

I could use a 7040285 Rochester spreadbore (4 speed with A/C), I have a nice 7040286 but it is for a non A/C 4 speed. I have rebuilt the engine and may get into the full project at the end of this year. I have pretty much everything else and have been collecting parts for about 6 years for it.
