Default rear seatbelts

Hi all-</P>

I am installing newrear seat belts in my 65 coupe. They came with reinforcement</P>

plates, bolts and lock washers. My question is since there are no pre-drilled</P>

holes in the floordo I just space the belts 15" apart, since the seat pattern is 15"</P>

wide, drill the holes through the floor and that's it? Any help would be ppreciated.</P>

Thanks,</P>

There were none there. 65's weren't required to have rear seatbelts</P>

Find a 66 that has rear seat belts and take your measurments from it. Install your in the same location and you should be fine. I am sure most any older stang owner would be happy to help. I have a 67 fastback so mine will be differnt than your.
