Fortunately, I don't live in the land of fruits and nuts. In Texas, tint it or fry.
fruits and nuts is used to refer to San Francisco... i think
As far as I can tell, the whole state is collectively referred to as the land of fruits and nuts. You've got to be nuts to pay $1M for a sub 2000 s.f. house, don't you?

If this is an opinion poll, while I've seen plenty of early models that looked nice and had tinted windows, my preference is without it.

Go with the tint. It should cost around 300 bucks or less. make sure you have a place that has worked on classics before and is respectable so they wont mess up your car. I love the white paint, it seams almost pearly!

BAY68_347 answered the question pretty well, with a picture. Nice looking car man!

I know prices are different around the country, but I've neverpaid more than $150.

Nice looking car. Tint it. You could also have the tinters run two darker stripes up the rear window to connect your ralley stripes.

that sounds horrible IMO. Also, I think it would peel up there and stuff.

I have seen it on a few cars and it looked really nice. I am thinking about it for my car. The ones I saw had the ralley stripes only a few shades darker than the rest of the shading so it was subtle.

Thanks, TexasAx.

Yeah, PO tinted my windows all around for $255 incl tax, material & labor. $75 materials, $175 labor. 7 windows total at a reputable shop.
That seems to be the going rate around here for a quality job. I am sure it can be done cheaper but you know most of the time you get what you pay for.

Tinting seems to be personal preference. To each his own. Cheers!

I like tint, but it truely depends on the color of the car. I think darker colors like green (nineteen66mustang), black(Bay68), purple, red, maybe blue look awesome, but lighter colors like white, yellow, skyblue, pink, etc look dumb.

I plan to tint mine in the future about 30%. My interior is all black so it would still be difficult to see in with that light tinting, and still help with the heat.
