Mine look totally different than the ones pictured above. I got a 33 peice plug kit and have replaced everything I could find. Just have these quarter plugs left and a few others (which I think I dont need cuz I have an early 67). I'll look again...

We've got an early 67 as well (Jan 10th 67) and I don't remember seeing these either. I'm away from ours for another 3 or 4 weeks though so cant check. :(

The drain plugs should go in the trunk drop off where it meets the quarter panel.

My 67 Coupe have them located where the rear quarter is cricled, they look like they have been there since the car was built on March 7 1967 in Califorina

Ok, I think I found where they go. The problem was that I do not have the originals still installed, so it was harder to find the "hole" where they go.

Now a new question. The hole is actually a small square and on the back side of the grommet are little prongs that hold it into the opening, so its not a standard grommet. The grommet has a special shape to it, forming some function, but I dont understand it's function?

We all know where they go, well not exactly. I posted this same question last year when I was wondering what they were. We need a pic of the exact location.
