you could take a good pic of your car and post it in the "chop shop" part of the forum and the guys over there should be able to give you a variety of different colors.

It seems like paint and wheel selection are the most difficult choices to make when restoring a mustang. Most of the time I prefer to stay with the factory color on a repaint but the exception to that was my 68 fastback. I had this vision in my head of the car many years before I even bought it. I just knew what I wanted to build. In my opinion the factory colors just look "right" and some cars painted with a color that wasn't offered back then look a little off. Just my opinion though.

I too like the factory colours or close to it ,even if its not the right classic year colour but is in that 64 to 73 year range of the Mustang Classics. Than agian its what a person wants ,it will still look good long as it i done right.

I chose a color from the same year as my car. I looked at new cars, but nothing looked as good as the Acupluco Blue that Ford offered in 68 for me.
