Default ADVICE ON WHAT ENGINE SHOULD I USE?

I got a 69 mustang and trying to decide what engine to use for this project. can you guys give me some advise?

there is a junk yard close to my house nad i was thinking of going there and get a used block since they having a sale 50% off this weekend.

Im have a low budget.

^ yup, but if you come across a running 351w you'd be MUCH better off and shouldnt cost you much more

i went yesterday and there was a 429 from a old ltd it was clean and they have it for $125
do you guys think is worth it get it?

Big blocks are expensive to build, and they take work to make them fit. Plus they make the car even more front heavy and aren't really necessary for a street car. 351W if you can find one.

351w stroked to 393-408, if you want a daily driver with massive power/economy a 5.0 roller motor with twin turbos off t bird tubo coupes, easy 450-500hp using mostly stock and junkyard parts and better than stock 5.0 economy in NORMAL driving conditions. Or stroke a 351w the same power but at lower rpms and cheaper.

Yulp 302 or 351w both are cheap to build up.

I like the Boss 302 well balanced. It makes for a great driver.

i'd totally grab the 429 if its that cheap - rebuilding them if you need to is NOT that much more money, and you wont need to spend as much in go-fast parts to actually make it perform.
