Named mine " MOOSE" in honor of my dad... his nickname was "Moose" so i thought it would be apropriate to have a ford "MOOSTANG"

I have three girls that I plan on giving them a 65 coupe when they turn 18 or 21 really have not decided. They are 6,3, and 1 now so I have some time. Anyways I named my 1st Mustang coupe after the oldest MEENA. then it will be Nalah with the
next one and Onaca as the last one.

I always refer to my 70 as the "Powerful Mach 1", a play on Speed Racer's "Powerful Mach 5". My Truck is "The mighty F 150", and the 06 vert is "Grand Tourismo". The wife was amazed that GT stood for that. She thought my son was pulling her leg when he told her that.

I haven't gotten into naming any of my cars, but others in the family have. My daughter's '66 picked up the common "Rustang" tag (and at one point I had a bag of the stuff that I was going to wrap up and give her as a joke gift). The car that used to be my avatar car (now a thumbnail) has been variously named "Nellie" and "Cranky". No names for any of the FWD cars.

And the '08 GT hasn't been in the driveway long enough for anybody to even start thinking of a name.

"Gigi", whichtranslatesto Gas Guzzler. in Russian of course.

(Couldn't resist after having seen the thread in Russian that came up a couple of days ago.)

The 66 is Marilyn. Was trying names for a few days & for some reason that one worked for me.
The wife's Escape is Harry (Harry Houdini the Escape artist).
My Jeep Cherokee is Chief.
Just bought a 70 Fastback so I need a new name for her (for me, my cars are girls & my trucks (& SUVs) are dudes).

The Tank

my old big green volvo used to be called that, but i transferred the name to the stang when we sold the volvo. the stang fits the bill tho cuz it prolly drives just as smoothly as a tank. and its green.
