I just wired my car two weeks ago using that kit. Its a good kit, but you need to have the origianl wiring diagrams for your car in order to do it. It is a universal kit and isnt made to fit in exactly. It took me about a week to do it, and a big headache. But everything turned out real nice.

I went with the Ron Francis Wiring kit (part XP-727 Express Kit) myself. Its a custom wiring kit and comes with a sweet Express wiring panel to replace the sorry excuse of a fuse panel in the mustangs. Everything is color coded, wire lengths are nice and long, and includes a very nice headlight switch to replace the old one as well. It costs more but its definitely a quality custom kit. Cost is 429.95.

true66gt.. the Ron Francis kit is loose wires. Each 'set' of wires come in their own zip-lock bag with detailed installation guide. All wires are labeled what they are from end to end. Basically, say from your headlights, you'd start at the headlight and pull the wire through routing it as you'd like (I'm going for all hidden wires) through the firewall, under the dash to where you have the new Express Wiring Panel. Then go pull a few more wires starting from their end locations (headlights, taillights, horns, etc) through the car back to the Panel. Once you have them all run through, connected and hooked up then you cover them with wire loom or whatever you'd like. You should always think twice (actually 3 or 4 times) before cutting the wires.. you can always cut a bit more off.. you cant add more on.. well you know what I mean. Also, when under the dash you should plan on the bundle of wires to have a complete "loop" before going into the Express panel. I plan on allowing for an extra 18" or so of wire here in a loop just before the Express panel for 2 reasons. First, this ensures I never cut the wires too short and secondly, it gives some play when you plug everything into the panel and in case you ever need to drop the panel for some reason.
The kit I linked to is the the whole car. Remember.. this isn't a harness or repro wiring! This is a complete new upgrade over the old harness and replaces everything. Better wires, better shielding, etc. I've emailed asking questions a few times and have always received an answer back directly from Ron who doesn't just give a "scripted answer", but goes into detail and offers a lot of advice. I spent a few months looking at and researching all the wiring harnesses and custom kits. I sent emails and made phone calls to many asking questions. His friendliness and willing to support and stand behind his product punched it home as to what wiring I'd be using in our car.
I linked to the kit for the entire car however he has a full catalog of products. If you're thinking of wiring a car you might want to get it. He does have under dash kits, gauge kits, etc. Personally I'd go with the kit and do the whole car. Sell the forward harness on eBay/Craigslist to re-coupe some of the money. I look at it this way.. The most important system on a car are the brakes! Doesn't matter how fast your car goes, if you can't stop your screwed. The second most important thing next is the wiring system! With a bad, pieced together, old, etc wiring system every time something doesn't work the first thing you think of is the wiring. Don't know about you but I hate electrical problems! I decided I didn't want that issue and went with the complete new kit. Front disk brakes and wiring were the first things I ordered for the car.. after the shop manual of course.
Don't have the kit here with me however a few pics from awhile back.. The Box ; Inside The Box & Inside Showing the Express Panel.
Good luck!

I have installed 3 Francis kits to date,,, I guess I like um...

I can't say a thing about the other kits on the market, but the Francis kit
is a quality piece that is easy to install. Take a little time on the install and it
will look really nice also.
Yes, if you want it wrapped, you have to wrap it.

Does the Francis kit come with the terminals, or do you have to cut the ones off your old harness? I'm considering getting one as I fried the large black with yellow stripe wire that feeds the ignition switch.
Also, are the instructions any good? Wiring is not my forte.
