Default Finished my valance

I finished my front valance today. Here are some in process pics. Need to finish the roll of film to have the completed pics. Stripped all the parts off the drivers door to do that next. Will have plenty of pics on the door when I get done with it.

Is that the original valance off the car or one from a donor car? What did you have to do to it? I got lucky on mine...surface rust on the back and a billion rock chips on the front but no holes or missing metal except a tiny bit around a turn signal opening.

Flyingfool,I was able to put it on a flat surface and bend it to get it mostly straight. Then I hammered and dollied it the rest of the way. I got lucky and didnt leave any marks on the back side. Luckily the backside didnt have any rust so I just scuffed and undercoated it. Later I will paint both sides to match the car when I determine what color to go with. Honeygold, I bought a used oem front valance. Mine was destroyed on thewheel lift of a tow truck.

I have the smooth rear pan and it is in good shape. Should be an easy part to do.I am not going with the cut out panel due to the fact that I am not big on seeing the pipes.
