Does anyone have an easy way to get at the heater hoses at the core? I want to change mine in my 66, and dont want to drop the air etc. Thanks

Can't get to the heater hose clamps with dropping theair box. go ahead and drop the air box... easy job.. I would recommend putting a new seal kit in it also..

Do you drop it on the passenger side? Do I need to drop the A/C unit to get at it? Thanks for the info.

Yep... just on the passenger side... You shouldn't have to drop the A/C...

On the non A/C cars you can take off the defroster plenum, lay on your back and stick you head way under the dash to ge the hoses off. I'm sorry I'm not that familiar with the A/C cars.

By dropping the air box do you mean the heater box or something else?
