I have Ivy Gold and White pony interior in my 66. The car has a dark green dash. I am planning on replacing the carpet as it is original. I was wondering what you guys think. I was planning on putting Ivy gold carpet back in the car but am now thinking about dark green. I will go with the dash and I think will look better. I have also seen on most pony interiors that the carpet and dash have matched, but the Ivy Gold I have seen, the carpet is ivy with either dark green or Ivy gold dash. Let me know what you guys think is better and if the dark was an option. Thanks

 

With your women the drapes should match the carpet...on Mustangs the dash should match the carpet

 

We're going with the Ivy Gold interior in our 67. The dash, center console (lower), headliner, door panels will all be Ivy Gold. The dash pad, upper console, 3-point seat seat belts and carpets will be black.

The existing dash pad in our car is black and is in really good shape so we decided to keep it. The upper console being black vinyl with ivy gold vinyl insert will set it apart from the headliner. Carpets and seat belts are ALWAYS getting dirty in daily drivers so the black will really help. Still need to clean them however but I'd never put in light colored carpets!

Its really going to depend on what and how you use the car for. If its only a weekend driver or show car then it doesn't really matter. If its a daily or semi-daily driver you'll want to go with a darker color. I'd suggest either the dark green or black.

It is a weekend car for us, but I think I may like the darker. Was it an option to have the dark with the ivy gold? Thanks
