Default What a mess....

Bored, so I thought I'd give you guys some dumb advice. If you start to drain the old gear oil out of your differential, make sure whatever is catching it doesn't tip over, and be there to see it..

About 3 quarts on the basement floor...

What a mess!

Also, if you ever drain your gas tank don't let the drain plug fall into the funnel. It will clog the funnel andgas will pourall over you and the garage instead of into the gas can the now cloggedfunnel is in.

also, when taking a tire off, make sure you loosen the lugnut and not tighten it so much it brakes the stud..

when changing a fuel filter, dont put it on backwards..

and finally....when changing engine oil ... never ... ever forget to ... put the oil filter on before you try to drive the car[:-]

Also this one from just this week. When replacing your battery, do not touch the negative ground wire to the positive terminal. Your starter solenoid won't like it.
