Default Estimated E/T

Im planning on going to the track on wends and was wondering if any of you had an idea of waht kind of time i should run.
Here are my specs:
Its a 69 Mustang coupe
302 block, stock crank and rods, speed pro hypertuenic pistons(9 to 1 compression) running on 107 octane.
Comp cams extreme energy 268 camshaft. Intake duration/lift- 268/509 exhaust duration/lift- 280/512.
Ported heads with larger valves. 1.94 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust valves.
Edelbrock performer intake and edelbrock 650cfm carb.
Mallory electronic igntion system.
long tube headers
50/50 shocks in the back with 5 layer leafsprings.
90/10 shocks in the front.
I have a c4 tranny with a manual/automatic valvebody and a 2500 stall converter. 3.55 gears in the back.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Matt

i would think 107 octane would be hurting your setup. you dont have enough compression to run that. i would think 93 would be fine if not better
correct me if i am wrong though

im gonna experiment with the octane when i go. I have 93 in it now, and maybe at the track ill throw something a little higher in it and re-tune it. The car pulls to hard to run only a 14.8, it screams up to 5 grand real fast( ive never taking it above 5k because i dont wanna hurt anything). Im was hoping somewhere mid 13's or so. Desktop dyno said my motor combo makes 401hp at the crank, and yes i am aware that its just an estimate and its not very accurate.

IMO, if you go higher than 93, the fuel wont fully burn and you will loose power. you could though, run like 50/50 93 and race fuel

Yeah, that thing will run on 87 if tuned right. Higher octane won't get any more power regardless of how you tune it. More ignition and/or less fuel will just cost you power. How ported are the heads and which heads are they? The suspension mods should help, even on street tires(if they're good) the 60's should be decent. If it's a mild port job on non GT40 stock heads, don't expect mid 13's unless you run a sticky tire and can drive really well.

And that setup is more than likely a lot closer to 301hp at the crank than 401hp. The suspension, stall and gears should help it quite a bit though.

The heads have been gasket matched and smog bumps removed. they are 60cc chamber heads from an 80's mustang. What do you think i should be running my timing at? I really have no idea what its at now because there is no timing marker.
