We need more info.
What flow rate are you heads doing?
What is your horsepower curve like?
What gearing does your tranny have?
What is the grind number for your cam?

Just looking at it, I would guess mid 13s if you can hook and you are willing to spin it to 7000. Be prepared to cross the line in 3rd gear @ 7000 or so. If you short shift it around 6000 you may be more like in the high 13s low 14s.

Let me know how close I am. This is kinda like Pass Times on Speed!

That lil tree with the pretty lights will hurt your feelings bad.LOL
Heads up your slower than you think just in reaction time if you have never done this before.
Its a learning curve have fun dont go for broke thats how things break.

Remember slides suck on the track the wall isnt good for your car.
Take a few runs to get a feel for it before you redline out of the hole. IMHO
Ask silly questions from other guys. You may get razzed a lil but you'll learn something also.

I expect low 15's if you have never been to the track first run.
Bypass the water trap on burnout if you running street tires.
Take a tank and drop your tire pressure to about 20lbs (rear ONLY) an play from there.

Have fun and watch a few before you just jump in.

If your drove your *** off with slicks I could see 12's. Even better yet with a Holley. But don't expect much like Cman said if it's your first time. It wasn't my first time a few years ago and I still knocked 6 tenths off my 1/8 time compared to the first time I showed up with that combo.

I love posting this:

Learning curve = 3-4seconds
Fixing shifter not holding second gear = 1 second

Start slow, feel the car out. I always run the first run of the day in full auto and usually don't even stall....just chugg down the track flooring it from idle to get a feel for the conditions that day. First time for the driver and the car at the track will usually allow you shave some signifcant times of your total et as you learn where the car wants to shift it, tweak things here and there, etc. I usually run the first three runs with no changes, then I make a single variable change (tire pressure, jets, timing, etc) and then start doing back to back runs and then change something else up. Also as you can see...if its a test and tune day don't worry about reactions times so much the first time out. Leave on the 3rd yellow and you'll be fine.

Don't worry about the reaction times. Just go when you see the green light. Your ET will not be effected because of a slow reaction, the clock starts from when the front wheels break the light beam. When you have mastered your launch and have a good consistent ET then you can work on your reaction times...It will mater in the end when your racing some else but not if your practicing..

you don't need to know all that!! besides he listed the heads = rpm heads and 512 lift cam grind number is not importan and anyone who knows t-5's know the z spec is a 2.95 first gear ratio and I can tell by looking at the combo it is an easy 12 sec motor but on street tires don't expect any better than mid 13 sec to low 14 sec......you'll need a sticky tire to hook up that beast

I think a lot of drag racing is the launch, so just work on that without damaging your clutch. And like said before, you wont do very well your first time, but at least you will have lots of room to improve.
