You can get one at NPD or many of the other classic parts dealers. You can go to their site and download a catalog or order one. I like NPD because they have always treated me well and have only got good quality parts from them. Also if you are near one of their warehouses you can just drive there and pick up the parts you need.

Search for drip rail, not roof rail. Mustangs Unlimited, NPD and just about every other place should have them for you.

i have been through their online catalog, and done numerous web searches. everything comes up roofrail/siderail weatherstripping. But im looking for the chrome piece that the weatherstripping goes into.

That piece may be harder to find. It may be called the siderail molding (I'm looking in NPDs catalog), but I'm not really seeing a good picture anywhere to confirm.

Oh whoops never mind, I misread your post. Maybe if you search for the door weatherstripping that piece will come up under like related items or something. Worth a shot

what you are looking for is called the weatherstrip channel. I think there is 2 pcs per side on a coupe, a flat "filler" piece that rivets to the body, and then the piece that actually holds the weatherstrip that is held in place with screws.. Neither the coupe or fastback weatherstrip channels are reproduced. The coupe pieces are much easier to find, and less expensive. You need to contact some of the mustang salvage yards. Stay away from Prestige Mustang near Atlanta Georgia. They screwed me...
