Default Going to Test Fit some Bullets today!

A guy I know has a 64.5 with chrome 17x8 bullets 245 fronts and 275 rears (unsure of profile) ordered to fit with 0 offset.. He says he doesnt like the chrome and wants to get a set of grey/chrome lipbullets so he is going to let me try his shoes on my car today to see if I like how they fit, and sell them to me if I do..I cant wait.. I go over to his tire shop at 2.. WIsh me luck.. He says that the wheels fit on his car perfect with air shocks.. and I know the 69 has a little more room than he does.

mine are pretty much the same, they fit with no problems - only had issues with my 275's on the rear but they are buldgey drag radials. but i'm in the process of getting rid of my rims, i hate chrome. blegh

air shock are very very bad, if you have to run air shocks you dont want those wheels(they will punch a hole thru the floor where the shocks bolt on) ask me how i know[&:] i had a 72 fastback the previous owner installed them.

shocks dont support any weight at all, period end of story![8D]

I tried them out and didnt like them.. I took the air shocks off of my car about 2 months ago because I knew they were no good, but this guy swears by them..
I found out that I am not the big wheel type of guy.. I like the 15's or 16's at most. The 17's today just didnt look right. It may have been the profile of the tire though.. They were short 245 45 17 up front and 275 40 17 in back, just about the exact same height.. I didnt like it.. Not enough meat to the tire for my taste.. Here are a couple of pics..
