Well, I have been here for a little over a month now. Things are going pretty good. Definatly way better here than my last 3 deployments. No one shoots anything at us here, and there are pretty good amenities all things being considered. Hell, we can even have 3 beers a day here, and you can work the system to get more than that. The worst thing to deal with is the heat. I will take that anyday over my last deployments. I am stationed in Djibouti (ja-booty). Lots of jokes from a name like that. It is right above Somalia on the coast. I tried to upload some pics to my photobucket account, but the army servers wont let me do for some reason. Anyway, all is well, the car is stored and safe. I plan on taking her out of storage when I get R & R in September. Drive it some and then put her back in til I get home. Well, take care all and talk to you later.

 

I'd say keep your head down, but guess not. Oooo, your gonna be in Africa, and it's getting hot also.
