Default RACING SEATS INSTALLATION

What kind of racing seat would anyone here recomend for a classic? I want one thats kinda a restomod street/track seat. I want it to be comfortable but with the cutouts to support the 4pnt harness. Also what is required to mount the aftermarket seats into the factory seat mount holes? If anyone here has some photos or info that would greatly help me! Also whats a good asking price for a set of 1970 mustang coupe stock seats that have been reapolstured with black leather. Mine are in great shape and i wont be needing them.
Thanks!

Look around and sit in the seats before buying them not everyone like the same things what feels good to me might not to you. Some people like the scat procar there cheap and bolt straight in.

Well I got my seats from procar- http://www.procarbyscat.com/ They are descent seats with an actual metal frame, they also have all the movements of a normal seat- back, forward from the ground mount and the seat back. They have awesome variety. If you don't feel comfortable ordering them from their site they are also listed on Summitracing.com.

On a side note I highly recommend going with comfort rather then look... I have friends that have had racing seat stationary with no movement, and they were the most miserable things to squeeze my **** into let alone try to buckle up....

These seats look great in a classic, they come in plether and tilt back with a lever. When we installed them for our customer that was 6'4" we had to move the seat as far back as possible and lower the seat pan to the point where I couldn't even push the clutch all the way in and i'm 6'1" .

Check out Sparco they have street race style seats with full recline and universal frames as do Recaro and Corbeau. Summit Racing has a self branded sport seat in pleather that reclines, has harness holes and looks good for 200 bucks each. Imo Racing back sport seats look better than procar seats, they always look to big for the car and look like they belong in a 78 cadillac. Just get a fully adjustable sport seat no solid back.
