Default Newbie carb question

Hello all. I have a 66 coupe with a 2V 289 2 barrel. I have a couple of questions. 1. Does anyone know the model number carb that came stock on this car. The only identifying mark I can find on it says Motorcraft. Would that be the 2100?? 2. Would it be in my best intrest just to rebuild this one or go to a 4 bbl intake and carb. (around 500 cfm or less) The motor has a small RV cam in it. I looked at the carb calculator and it said around 500 would work. I just didn't know with being the 2V if the 2 more barrels would make that big a difference. I know these questions have probably been asked. I searched for them with the search engine to no avail.

usually theres a carb ID tag in the side/top corner of the carb.. but if thats gone, look around on the sides. theres got to be a cast or stamped #s somwhere. pictures wouldnt hurt either

Motorcraft 2V are 2100's. Get a nice 4bbl intake and carb, you'll get better mileage and power if you pick the right setup.
