Hell ebay all the way if you wanna save $$ and you can find what you want. Longtubes provide the most power increase but require a different mid pipe, equal length are the next best but they can be a pain to put on, and unequal length are the least efficient, but the cheapest and easiest to do and sill make a great improvement over stock.

I think he has an older car...go with the long tube headers you should be able to find a set in the 50-75 range...just have them media blasted and put on a good coating and they will look like new

find a paint or body shop, they should be able to do it, media blasting is basically the same as sand blasting just with something other than sand as the abrasive(like glass beads, etc)

yep it's just a lil finer there are about 10 different sizes...sand blasting stuff is made out of crucables
they also make lil rubber pellets you can strip a car in an hour and won't harm glass or trim

I have a set of cheap *ss cyclones on my 67 if I dont go FE motor the headers are going bye bye and will be replaced with hi po ex manifolds. I put headers on in 1979 and finally got sick of all the problems they cause. If you are not racing I think the hi po manifolds will flow quite well for the street and last forever. FE motors on the other hand headers are your only real choice as the stock manifolds are terrible and cj ones are very rare and expensive</P>
