Welcome to the forum, I'm relatively new to the forum as well. I'm working on my first restoration period, Mustang or not, so I don't have a lot of advice in that regard.
But I can tell you how to upload pics....when you create a post at the bottom there is a link "Click her to upload!" and a checkbox next to it to Embed picture in post. I click on the check box, then click the upload link and a window appears to allow you to select the files. The total size of the all files can't exceed 400Kbytes.
I've seen it where people actually have large pics embedded in their posts, but don't know how to do that yet....if anyone knows......
Anyway, welcome.

Welcome and you are going to love this site! As far as your budget you should plan to pay more and spend twice the time you think your going to spend on the car. But that is what makes it fun. My brother has a 66 V8 Stang and I have an 03 cobra and the 66 gets the most looks and thumbs up!! You cant go wrong with a classic ford.
Welcome to the Site!!! Lots of good info here. As far as the swap goes. There are plenty of members that have done it. JMD is my recommedation (he shouldn't mind helping out) and also go to the FAQ in the sticky section. You would need v8 spindles and an upgraded radiator, along with other items. More info will be coming along shortly. Ask plenty of questions, answers are endless. We can always make it up if we don't know.
I don't live far from you I believe, if your name is giving it away. Im 20 miles west of Charlotte.

Welcome to the forum!
Just so you know, you will have a hard time with that 5k budget. You might look into used parts or something, but you wont be able to get the best of everything with only 5k. I would just go slowly and do it right if I were you.
For pics, the way I like to do it is go to photobucket.com, make an account, upload pics there, and then in the post you click the image button and then copy the direct link (something like this: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...3/IMG_0202.jpg) and paste it between the image tags.
good luck with the project!
