Any recommendations for carb suppliers? I need one for my tired old 6 cylinder. I rebuilt the one on it but it is still hard to start and stalls when youromp down on it.

there are a couple rather large carb remanufacturing companies that list a bunch of stuff on ebay. i cant recall their names but i bet if you look around ebay in the carb's section you'll find one of em.

Gonna 2nd the ebay recommendation. You might be able to locate a carb on ebay but still may have to rebuild it. Pony Carbs is a reputable place and does good work. Prices seem kinda steep to me but I'm fugal I guess. You have the autolite 1100 in that 6 banger? I have the 1100 in mine which I rebuilt and it made some difference. However, I noticed that the rust from an old fuel tank gave me alot O probs with the carb. After I put a new tank in and cleaned up the carb, things have worked much better....just a thought for you to ponder....
